How Found: Its wonderful news! Angel has been found!
She had been missing for 12 whole days. She fell from the upstairs balcony while playing with Georgie (bigger cat) and it was just at dusk, she is in season so probably enjoyed the wandering at first. We distributed 300 missing notices to mailboxes and stuck them up everywhere. I had been calling to her in my heart and sending her love and golden energy. By last week we were even more worried. I lodged an advert on a lost pet website and then called a clairvoyant. The clairvoyant told me that Angel was nearby and would be home soon. She told me to knock on the door 3 houses down to get more information – I did but they hadn’t seen her. Then I had a call from a lady quite far away who had seen her last Tuesday night – so we knew she was alive but also we knew that no one had taken her in. We searched that whole area and dropped more leaflets. Its been freezing and very wet and the poor kitty has been out in that!
Yesterday we were away from home and at exactly 10 past 3 I realised I didn’t have my mobile and someone might call for Angel – so we rushed back to our car to get it – but no call. When we got home a message had been left on our home phone at 10 past 3! It was the man from 3 houses down! They had seen Angel 10 minutes earlier in their garden. It was dark by the time we had the message.
We went out 3 times in the dark calling and I kept wanting to go into the garden of the house opposite 3 doors down. Eventually I crept under the tree in front of that house – and she was in the branches, scared as could be. I caught her in my arms and she is now back with us! She’s been eating like a wolf and she follows me like a little doggy everywhere I go. If I leave the room she runs after me calling out. Its heartbreaking to think of what she must have gone through but it is so wonderful to have our precious darling back home!

Description: Tessa was last seen in the Vittoria Heights/ Glen Iris area in Bunbury WA. Her home is Clifton Park but she jumped onto a ute at the neighbours house but the driver could hear her meows but couldn\'t see her. Anyone who sees her please contact 0403020525 |

| Date Found: 12 July 2007 |
How Found: It is a miracle our beautiful Tessa is back home. She jumped on to a ute at our neighbours house and the driver didn't hear her meows until she was about 7kms from home. When the car stopped Tess jumped off the ute on a busy highway. We searched every opportunity we had through nearby suburbs and bushland. We contacted every animal haven and vet in the area to notify them of her disapperance. Many friendly people saw our signs and flyers and called offering help. 3 weeks after her disappearance a lady staying at resort near where she went missing heard Tess'cries. She sent down her grandchildren her said she 'stank'. Tess had put her arm through her collar which started to cut into her armpit and her flesh had started to rot. The lady contacted many places to see if they would come and collect Tess because she didn't want to touch her (which is fair enough because Tess was very smelly!). A lady from the Gelorup Animal Haven came out straight away to look at Tess to see if she could be saved. She cut her collar and took her to the haven where she gave her antibiotics. 5 days later the haven saw our ad in the local newspaper and called us asking for details of what Tess looked like. We went straight to the haven and they took us through to the cages where there were heaps of cats in cages and at the top was our gorgeous Tess meowing. We cried happy tears as we couldn't believe we got her back. The staff at the animal haven were also in tears as they don't get many happy stories.
Tess is now back home and healthy as she was before she left. She is enjoying her cuddles and licking our feet as she does often!!
For those out there with missing pets, we recommend you advise as many people as you can and keep advertising that they're missing. If we hadn't kept advertising we may have never got her back.
We are very lucky to have Tess back - she's a very beautiful cat!! |
