Dog Lost in Bentleigh East Date Lost: 31/07/2009 Name: Billy Age of Pet : 14 months Gender: Male Breed: King Charles Cavalier Colour: Blenheim (auburn/white) Collar: Blue with microchip, council tag and phone number Size: Small Microchipped: Yes Desexed: No Description: Billy was last seen on East Boundary Road, Bentleigh East. He has quite a severe limp due to the inability to use his back right leg. He needs regular vet checks to monitor blood flow and bone development. He also has a heart murmur. He is missed greatly by his owner who has only recently moved to Victoria.

Date Found: 13/09/2009 How Found: Billy has been found. I was contacted by the lost dogs home in North Melbourne after they scanned his microchip. Billy was found on the other side of the city from where I live. He had his leg amputated and was de-sexed. Billy had escaped from the yard of the people who had stolen him. He had the same coat on as when he was taken, however the people had removed his tags and given him a new collar.

Cat Lost in Budgewoi Date Lost: 07/08/2009 Name: Fluffy Age of Pet : 6mths Gender: Female Breed: Part Persian Colour: Dark Tortoise Shell Collar: Unknown Size: Small Microchipped: No Desexed: No Description: Cute face, mainly dark in colour but with streaks of white and ginger etc. Extra long and very fluffy tail.

Date Found: 8/8/09 How Found: Contacted every neighbour within about 500m radius either in person or flyer wedged in screen doors. Stood in backyard just after dark when it was quiet, whistled loud, called her name and rattled cat biscuit box out loud. Did that from 7.00 p.m. every 15 mins until 9:00 p.m. You could hear me from streets away. She quickly ran in back door at 9:25 p.m. Spent a whole 10 mins [true] in hasty litter tray as I wouldn't let her back out again. Been non-stop washing but not hungry. Away nearly 48 hours. A miracle, never been this fortunate before. Isn't 8/8/09 lucky???

Cat Lost in Beecroft Date Lost: 22/07/2009 Name: Sandy Age of Pet : 3 Gender: Male Breed: Siamese Colour: sandy, white & grey stripes on Collar: Blue Size: Medium Microchipped: Yes Desexed: Yes Description: Last seen in Beecroft Wed 22nd July. Tends to jump into utes, cars as has been found in a ute before after 5days. He could also be stuck in a garage/outbuilding locally. Please search your areas in and around your house. He is not a strayer. He has blue eyes and has distinctive markings on his tail and between his eyes and ears. Reward if found.

Date Found: 14.8.09 How Found: We persisted in calling him each day to keep the routine going. He was found crying under our neighbours house after 3wks missing (22.7-9.8)with a badly broken leg and thin. After $5k in surgery and 12wks in traction, he is happy to be reunited with his family. I urge that all neighbours who know of missing pets, to look under houses, in cars, utes and outbuildings. We are one of the lucky ones. His story will be featured on Bondi Vet as he is a miracle cat!

	Dog Lost in South Penrith Date Lost: 05/08/2009 Name: Milo Age of Pet : 12 Gender: Male Breed: Golden Retriever Colour: Light Blonde Collar: Brown Leather Size: Medium Microchipped: Yes Desexed: Yes Description: Milo has a black spot on his tongue, very affectionate. He is a family member and missed. Due to his age, he also has cataracts forming on his eyes, so eyesight is not the best.
Found	Date Found: 06-08-09 How Found: He was found in Glenmore Park and taken to a local Vet who scanned him and called us.

Fish tattoo inside left ear. Domestic medium hair. Well-fed. Mostly white body and face, with tabby and black markings on upper body, back, tail and top of face. Very friendly and affectionate, even towards strangers. Answers to 'Basil' and responds if you whistle. If you have any information at all, even if you are unsure, please call (02) 6239 4585. Date Found: 29/07/2009 How Found: Basil was found hours after I posted his profile on here! He was locked under a house down the street while the people renting it had been moving out last week. We knew this was a possibility so had gone looking for him around the house and calling his name, but didn't see or hear him. Today we tracked down the real estate agent and asked them to unlock the house for us. He was found underneath the house. He is now at home, eating anything that moves, but otherwise apparently none the worse for his big adventure! Thanks very much for providing such a great service. For those of you still looking - don't ignore your gut instincts and follow up every possibility, no matter how small it may seem. -Kate

Very fluffy tail and white chest. Last seen near Lane Cove National Park in Macquarie Park.

Date Found: 21 July 2009 How Found: David was missing nearly 10 days. We had searched endlessly and done many many letterbox drops (in the thousands)- and not heard a single thing. Today a woman rang, and thought she had seen David, but had only seen him very briefly, so could not give a description beyond "he was ginger!". Unfortunately she did not give full address (or name or number so I cannot thank her!)- but it allowed us to focus the search on a specific area of town. After 10 hours of searching, we felt it was hopeless. On a random whim, I drove down the driveway of a block of units... and again, on a random whim, I got out of the car. Immediately I could hear him, crying for dear life! (I think he recognised the sound of our car). Eventually we located him down a gully. He's tired, covered in fleas and ticks and has some bad injuries.... but he is back. For anyone reading this, my advice is just like everyone elses- put up lots of posters and do multiple letterbox drops, search everyday and don't give up! Even if the worst has happened, you will want to know that you did everything you possibly could. Good luck to all the other searchers
