Date Found: 10/10/08 How Found: We both put up posters in a 1 block radius and put fliers in every letterbox in a few blacks radius. We received 3 calls over the 24 hours after this, the 3rd call was from the kids 6 houses down who had found him and caught him in their garage for us! He is now safe and happily home again =)

He is a dearly loved family pet who is missed very much by his owners. We are desperate to have him home.
Found	Date Found: 4.10.08 How Found: Casper had been hit by a car and wandered back into our back yard. He has been taken to the vet and the next 24 hours are crucial. Hopefully, he will be OK and we will have our beloved moggy back home with us.

Found	Date Found: 30th september 2008 How Found: went into the car yard up the road because they gave him to a couple of women, they had one of the womens number so we rang it, her cousin had the dog and had meant to take him to the vet but had been extremely sick. we picked him up at 8pm that night

Date Found: 17/09/2008 How Found: After ringing all the vets and asking everyone around the neighborhood as well as postering and letter box dropping, Kiki came back by herself at 1:40am!! She was meowing at the back door and when we opened the door, a rather skinny looking Kiki ran in. We think someone might have tried to keep her but saw either our poster or our letter and let her go. So the morale of the story is NEVER GIVE UP!!!!

Dog Lost in Gundaroo Date Lost: 02/09/2008 Name: Koby Age of Pet : 5 years Gender: Female Breed: German Shepherd Colour: Pure black Collar: No Size: Big Microchipped: Yes Desexed: No Description: I am sending you this email as I am desperate to find my Black German Shepherd who went missing from Beralston Road Gundaroo on Saturday afternoon at 2pm (on top of the Lake George escarpment). She was spotted at the Lake George Lookout at 1pm on Sunday, 3 September but has not been seen since. Maybe somebody has picked her up and taken her back to Canberra thinking they will give her a home but it is soul destroying spending hours and hours each day and night in the bush or walking the roads and not finding her. She is pure black and her name is Koby. Koby was caged for the first 4 years of her life by a breeder and we gave her a beautiful home and got her out of a bad situation. However, because she was caged for so long she does not have the skills a normal dog has to survive. While Koby has improved so much in the 6 months she has been with us, she will struggle or not be able to find her way home. She will be very scared and will not accept food from anybody but myself or my partner. We are the only two people she trusts. It may be possible that somebody driving from Collector to Gundaroo on Marked Tree Road on Sunday may have seen or picked Koby up, to please contact either myself or the RSPCA or any dog pound, it would be so greatly appreciated. She is my best friend and I truly want her back with me at home. It is not the same. Many thanks for your time.

Date Found: 14/09/2008 How Found: My darling dog somehow survived in the bush for 8 days without food (but she did have water). The fact that Koby would not go to anybody else, she basically found an area in the bush and waited for me. Some people spotted her in the bush on Sunday and called me. I was able to go and retrieve her, 10km away from home. I cannot thank the people enough for calling me and for Koby for waiting until I could find her.

Bird Lost in Wollongong Date Lost: 07/09/2008 Name: Scooter Age of Pet : 14 MONTHS Gender: Unkown Breed: Cockatiel Colour: Grey/white with yellow head Collar: Unknown Size: Medium Microchipped: No Desexed: No Description: Scooter was last seen at Bode Avenue North Wollongong. Scooter flew away at 9.00am 7th September. Scooter is hand raised and very tame.

Date Found: 08/09/2009 How Found: We did many laps of the neighbourhood on foot, looking in trees calling into backyards, hung Scooters favourite items over our unit balcony railing & placed our Princess Parrot out on our Balcony to make some noise and perhaps attract him. We rang the RSPCA, the local vets & Wires. But the most effective thing by far (tip received from your website) that we did was deliver flyers to mail boxes in the neighbourhood and tape A4 lost notices to telegraph poles in foot traffic areas. We had a phone call from a person that had found Scooter and had seen our notice on a telegraph pole. We also had a call from a person that had seen Scooter in a tree and had received one of our flyers. Scooter is now home and has significantly reduced flight feathers and the kids grief counselling sessions have been cancelled.
